Is transportation really included?
Yes, subject to scheduling and service-area availability.
What does “holiday period” mean?
A holiday period is the full high-demand travel window around a major holiday. It usually includes several days before and after the official calendar holiday because those are the days when families travel and boarding demand is highest.
For example, the 2026 Thanksgiving holiday period is November 25–30, 2026. Thanksgiving Day is November 26, but every date from November 25 through November 30 is part of the holiday period. The exact period can vary by holiday and year, and the affected dates are identified in your booking summary before payment.
How is the 15% calculated? See an overnight example.
Holiday periods require additional staffing and have exceptionally high demand, so the regular rate is increased by 15% for every booked day or night that falls within the defined period.
Day & Night regular rate: $42.00 per dog/day.
Holiday-period rate: $42 × 1.15 = $48.30 per dog/day.

Holiday-period pricing: November 25, 26, 27 and 28 = $193.20.
November 29 is the 9:00 AM departure date, so it does not create another charge. At the regular rate, five days would cost $210.00. The holiday-period increase is $25.20.
How does late-pickup pricing work?
Day & Night care is priced in 24-hour periods beginning at the original drop-off time. On pickup day, we compare the pickup time with that original drop-off time:

Example: If drop-off was at 9:00 AM, pickup by 1:00 PM is free. Pickup after 1:00 PM through 5:00 PM adds a half-day charge. Pickup after 5:00 PM adds a full-day charge.
The extra charge uses the rate for the pickup date. If that date falls within a holiday period, the 15% holiday-period increase is applied to the half-day or full-day late-pickup amount.
